Delivery Method Information
Each individual product throughout this web-site will specifiy if delivery is included in the price or not.
If it says that delivery is included in the price, the method of delivery that will be used is Pallet Courier (if this is any different for any reason we will discuss this with you first before any delivery is made). See below for the pallet courier terms & criteria.

Pallet Courier Info
The pallet courier is a good option for distributing products nation-wide. The delivery is made using a tail-lift vehicle and a pallet truck. The driver will deliver the goods on a pallet to the front of your property if access allows and providing that the front of your property has a suitable hard-standing area (not gravel / chippings). The pallet truck cannot be manoeuvred over anything other than hard-standing. Sloping ground is a problem thus the area in which the driver is to un-load must be even and level. Drivers will not off-load the product off of the pallet and or take the product around the back of your property. Other Delivery Info
At Barton Fields we sell a huge range of different and diverse products, many of which are heavy and over-size. Delivery options are not always a formality thus we need to consider the options and liase with our contacts nation-wide in order to ascertain the best delivery method at the best price for you. Options include crane wagon hi-ab, Moffat (fork-lift) and 'man/women with van' courier handball off-load.
If you are local (live in the Midlands) we may be able to deliver the goods on a crane wagon hi-ab vehicle. For this service we charge a one off delivery fee that can sometimes work out better value than a pallet courier (the pallet courier charge is calculated per pallet - not as a one off fee)
We may also be able to offer the crane wagon hi-ab service nation wide if your order is sizeable / bulk.
For example, 15 packs of block paving or more. In this situation, orders can be delivered direct from the manufacturers premises.

Once you have contacted us and agreed a price for the crane wagon hi-ab service, please be aware of the following:-
The crane wagon that is used on a regular basis is about the same size as a fire engine thus please appreciate the requirement for this kind of access adjacent your property. The goods will be off-loaded by a mechanical crane to the front of your property where it is safe to do so in the experience of the driver. The driver holds the right not to perform any manoeurve that he / she feels is un-safe and or could potentially cause damage to the goods or the property. Any demand for the driver to drive onto your property that results in damage to any part of the property incurs no liability to the driver.
An articulated lorry / wagon may be used for larger / bulk orders and the same principles apply.
